POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Skin will look pinkish to red for 24-48 hours post treatment. You will feel the Spongilla Spicules in your skin for that time. It will feel prickly (but only when skin is touched).

Treat skin gently and do not rub or scratch it.

Do not wash with a face cloth for 72 hours.
-
Some peeling and tightness may occur during the first 72 hours post treatment.

Apply and adhere to a sunscreen with a minimum of SPF 40 to protect the skin.

Avoid suntanning or sunbeds, extreme weather conditions, heat from hot showers, baths, saunas, steam baths for 1 week post treatment.

Choose the shade or wear a hat with brim when you can’t avoid sun exposure.

Avoid swimming in a chlorinated pool for 1 week post treatment.

Discontinue the use of Retin-A, AHA’s (alpha hydroxy acid) & BHA’s (beta hydroxy acid) 4 weeks post treatment.
LED Colour Therapy is a recommended add-on to any needling treatment.
